Best Timeshare Destinations?
With thousands of locations around the world, there are many cities that contend for the title of best timeshare city. However, only the select few breach the top five. Here they are, as voted by me:
5. Great Falls, Montana
Who says vacations have to be in the tropics? Montana is known for its snow sports, mainly skiing and snowboarding, as well as a variety of other outdoor activities, including hiking and camping. However, Montana’s main claim to fame is the labyrinth of manmade and natural horse trails. Virtually anyone who has spent enough time in Montana has done at least some horseback riding. Despite its lack of accommodation for warm weather dwellers, Great Falls is an excellent place to vacation.
4. San Diego, California
Despite being the second most populated city in California, San Diego is has some of the most highly touted beaches in the country. This coastal city provides its residents with a warm, mild climate all year long. California is known for its dry, arid heat, but the average temperatures of 57 degrees Fahrenheit in January and 74 degrees in July prove this as a misconception. Home to the ever popular San Diego Zoo, the city offers a great deal of attractions as well, including many water parks. An even mixture of urban and coastal areas set San Diego apart from the rest of the field.
3. Colorado Springs, Colorado
Since the majority of popular timeshares reside in the warmer climates, Colorado Springs is a pleasant change. At over 6,000 feet above sea level, the mountainous terrain promises breathtaking views of valleys and gorges. The city is located near the base of the famous Pikes Peak at the southern edge of the Rocky Mountains. Like most of Colorado, hiking, camping, rock climbing, biking, and snow sports make up the city’s source of entertainment. However, Colorado Springs offers a modern urban area as well, giving the city a pleasant overall mixture of activities.
2. Miami, Florida
No list of elite vacation cities is complete without Miami, Florida. Renowned for its tropical weather and sunshine all year long, the coastal city remains the second largest city in Florida. Swaying palm trees line the urban streets, a light layer of powdered sugar-like sand sprinkled on top; the environment is awe-inspiring. Beaches, former NBA champion basketball team, and warm sun rays 365 days per year, how much better does it get?
1. Kauai
A short article does not do the oldest of the Hawaiian Islands justice. The only way to fully grasp the beauty and majestic atmosphere of the island is to visit there first-hand. There is hardly a better feeling than sipping a Mai Tai as gentle waves wash over your feet while watching the sun set over the lush green mountainside. Owning a timeshare in this slice of paradise is the closest to Heaven on Earth that you can get. No further explanation is necessary, everyone should visit the Kauai at least once in their lifetime.
